Biography
Dr. Stinchcomb received her PhD in Pharmaceutics from University of Michigan. She completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship (Biopharmaceutics) from University of California, San Francisco. In 2010 she was honoured with "Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame" & "Springboard Portfolio Company - All Things Life Sciences". In 2011 as AAPS Fellow.
Research Interest
Dr. Stinchcomb’s research is focused on transdermal prodrugs, microneedle-enhanced delivery, and translational research models for public-private partnerships.
Biography
Dr. Moses Oyewumi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Oyewumi earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and completed post-doctoral training at the University of Kentucky and at the University of Iowa in 2005. prior to joining NEOMED, Dr. Oyewumi was a Scientist, Pharmaceutics R&D for four years in a pharmaceutical industry. He is having many patents in his name.
Research Interest
Design, development and application of novel nanoparticulate/microparticulate delivery systems. Assessment of novel drug delivery systems using in-vitro and in-vivo models. Targeted drug delivery systems in cancer, neuroprotection and neurodegeneration. Nasal drug delivery systems in CNS diseases. Oral delivery of macromolecules.
Biography
Dr. Vinayagam Kannan is a Senior Scientist, Formulation R&D at Par Sterile Products, LLC. He has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). He obtained master’s degree in Pharmaceutics from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), India and bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, India. He has an excellent academic record with several awards and fellowships. He was inducted into The Rho Chi Honor Society in the year 2009 for his academic excellence.
Research Interest
Injectable and ophthalmic drug product development, pre-formulation, solubilization techniques, lyophilization, targeted drug delivery, nanoparticulate systems including liposomes, design of experiments (DOE), Quality by Design (QbD), extractables/leachables, and salt selection/screening.
